Chained potions will disappear and let the potions above fall down all the way through the empty space. You can chain together potions side by side only, horizontally or vertically. You don't have to wait for a potion to fall all the way down to drop the next potions. Remember act quickly, because potion will drop down on their own whenever their patience runs out.
