Letters and Number keys attack the nearest enemy that bears the same character. Space bar and the enter key - move your ship, which is very important for dodging enemy shots. Backspace will toggle the quality of the game. The faster you kill an enemy and the higher your current chain, the more points you will get. Chain is the number of enemies you have killed without letting any get away or damaging you. Energy is your life bar basically you keep playing until it reaches zero. As the levels advance there will be more and more letters and combos flying at you at faster and faster speed, so if you are a slow type you better get working on that ASAP.
